Why We Soft Wash Instead of Blast
Vancouver roofs live under fir needles and nine months of drizzle. Moss loves that. High pressure can blast moss off a roof, and half the shingle granules with it. So we work the other way.
Our house soft washing uses low pressure and cleaners that kill growth at the root, so it stays gone longer. On roofs, we pair moss removal with the Fresh Roof treatment. It uses GreenSoy technology to restore aging shingles, and it can add up to six years of life to a roof. That beats paying for a new one.
